Flies requested for the Rogue River Watershed Council fund raiser.

                                Calling All Fly Tyers

                     Dave McCants requests a dozen flies from members (with a signature card) for 

                     for the Rogue River Watershed Council fund raiser held on May 11th at the 

                     Ashland Hills Hotel from 5-9pm.  See their website for more details.

                     

                     The Rogue River Watershed Council's mission statement: "is to enhance 

                     resilience in Rogue River watersheds through ecological restoration and  

                     engagement with community partners."

                     Flies can be dropped off to Dave McCants at our SOFT meeting.

Jim is a long time member of SOFT and periodically ties for us.  His selection for his April 9^th demonstration is the Orange Belly, found in the Federation of Fly Fishers International Fly Pattern Encyclopedia.  This is a proven pattern for Jim on his northern California trout lakes.  If time permits Jim will also tie one of his favorite chironomid patterns.
